So first I tried the steak with white rice and red beans. Rice was perfectly cooked buttery and salty. Red beans were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Unsure if they used any seasoning but since I don't usually like beans I'm guessing they did. The steak was small but delicious and tender, for 6 I'm not complaining because the plate filled me up. I also tried the fried pies I tried the chicken and ground beef ones. Way to dry and not enough flavor for my taste. And lastly I tried there dessert type pastry guava and cream cheese. If you don't like guava don't try it but if you do like guava this dessert is an absolute must!!!! Very economical because on all this all I spent was 10.50. And my food was not microwaved and was hot when I got back to my truck parked down the street. I would recommend this place. Atmosphere was a typical of a small family owned restaurant. Smelled delicious walking up to and inside.
